The Diagnostic Test — Spirit of Truth or Spirit of Tradition? Use these four questions to examine yourself or guide a brother or sister through honest self-reflection: 1. The Humility Test (John 16:13 & Acts 17:11) The Question: When clear biblical evidence exposes that an inherited church belief or holiday violates Scripture, what is your immediate response? Spirit of Truth: "Let God be true and every man a liar." You yield to the text, repent, and abandon the tradition, regardless of the personal or family cost. Spirit of Tradition: You become defensive, dismiss the study, justify church custom, or claim "God knows my heart." 2. The Obedience Test (1 John 2:3–4 & John 14:15) The Question: “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” Do you strive to obey His commandments, or do you view His law as a burden? Spirit of Truth: Obedience is your act of love and fruit of repentance. Spirit of Tradition: Uses grace as an excuse for disobedience, claiming the commandments don't apply anymore. 3. The Authority Test (Mark 7:7–9) The Question: When God's Word says one thing and your denomination or favorite preacher says another, who wins? Spirit of Truth: Scripture alone holds final authority over doctrine and daily life. Spirit of Tradition: Denominational catechisms, pastors' opinions, and family heritage overrule the text. 4. The Name Test (Matthew 1:21 & Acts 4:12) The Question: When shown that Gabriel assigned the Hebrew name Yeshua ("Yahweh is Salvation"), carrying the Father's personal redemptive signature, does your spirit leap to honor it, or do you despise its Hebrew origin? Spirit of Truth: Receives the name with reverent joy, marveling at the Father's salvation. Spirit of Tradition: Clings to familiarity and mocks or rejects the original Hebrew truth. Part 3: The Watchman’s Mandate “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.” — Ezekiel 3:17–19 To the Reader: This warning is delivered to you not in hatred, but in urgent love. You have now been shown the mirror of Scripture. The difference between what God commanded and what man instituted is clear. In Romans 8:1–14, Paul sets up an absolute, binary divide. There is no middle ground or third category: a person is either governed by the mind of the flesh (sarx) or the Spirit of God (Pneuma). Paul does not frame this test around emotional experiences or external religious performance, but around dominion, mindset, and alignment with God's law. 1. The Starting Position: Condemnation vs. Freedom (vv. 1–4) What God Said: The Mosaic Law was holy and just, but it was "weakened by the flesh"—it could command righteousness, but human nature could not produce it. God fulfilled the righteous requirement of the Law by sending His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to condemn sin in the flesh. The Mark of Having the Spirit: The believer walks "not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit" (v. 4). The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set them free from the law of sin and death. The Contrast: The flesh is trapped under an endless cycle of command, failure, and condemnation. The Spirit produces an internal reality where the demand of God's Word is actively loved and lived out. 2. The Mindset Test: Setting the Affections (vv. 5–6) "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace." (vv. 5–6) The Mind of the Flesh: Governed by temporal preservation, self-elevation, appetites, and autonomous human reasoning. Its ultimate end is spiritual decay and death. The Mind of the Spirit: Preoccupied with what honors God—truth, holiness, obedience, and kingdom purposes. The Test: What does the mind naturally drift toward when unrestrained? The flesh defaults to self-interest; the Spirit defaults to God's will, resulting in inner stability (life and peace). 3. The Authority Test: Hostility vs. Submission (vv. 7–8) "For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God." (vv. 7–8) This is the diagnostic core of Paul’s argument: The Flesh Cannot Submit: The natural human heart views God's absolute authority as an imposition or a threat to autonomy. Even when outwardly observant, it negotiates, modifies, or excuses disobedience. It is fundamentally at war with "God Said." The Inability to Please God: Good deeds, religious ceremonies, or moral philosophies done under the impulse of the flesh remain unacceptable to God because the underlying will has never surrendered. 4. The Ownership Test: The Indwelling Presence (vv. 9–11) "You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him." (v. 9) Paul’s Binary Conclusion: You either possess the Spirit and belong to Christ, or you do not have the Spirit and are alien to Him. There is no category of a Christian who lacks the Spirit of Christ. The Internal Witness: If Christ is in you, the natural body remains subject to physical death because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of imputed and imparted righteousness (v. 10). The Guarantee: The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead acts as a residing power, imparting resurrection life even to mortal bodies to walk in holiness now (v. 11). 5. The Mortification and Sonship Test (vv. 12–14) "For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God." (vv. 12–14) Active Mortification: Having the Spirit does not mean passive sinlessness; it means active warfare. The true believer does not coddle the flesh or make peace with compromise—they actively put to death the misdeeds of the body through the Spirit's power. Led by the Spirit: In biblical context, being "led by the Spirit" in verse 14 does not refer primarily to mystical nudges about career or life choices; it refers directly to being led away from sin and into righteousness. Summary Table: Romans 8 Diagnostic Diagnostic Marker The Mind of the Flesh (Lacking the Spirit) The Mind of the Spirit (Having the Spirit) Primary Impulse Self-preservation, worldly interest, autonomy (v. 5) Righteousness, divine purpose, eternal truth (v. 5) Relation to God's WordHostile, resisting, unable to submit (v. 7) Submissive, fulfilled by the Spirit's power (v. 4, 7) Spiritual Fruit Death, alienation, inability to please God (vv. 6, 8) Life, peace, reconciliation with the Father (v. 6) Daily Habit Indulging or rationalizing the body's appetites (vv. 12–13) Actively mortifying the deeds of the flesh (v. 13) Identity Debtor to the fallen nature; outside Christ (vv. 9, 12) P ossessed by Christ; confirmed son/daughter of God (vv. 9, 14)

The statement " God gives His Spirit to those who keep His commandments" is a core theological concept, emphasizing that obedience to God's commands is a sign of love and a means by which His Spirit empowers believers to live a life pleasing to Him. Acts 5:32 Romans 8:9, he writes: "But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all". Self-Test The Examination of Faith: A Self-Test Scriptural Requirements for Salvation. "Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. It asks: Is my faith a living, breathing part of who I am, or am I just going through the motions?Test yourselves..." — 2 Corinthians 13:5 He wants us to find out now, in the quiet of our own prayer lives, if we are operating in the flesh or the Spirit—rather than standing before Him on Judgement Day only to hear the words, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness" (Matthew 7:23). The Line in the Sand Scriptural Assessment There is no gray area, no partial alignment, and no grading on a curve. In the economy of God's Kingdom, you are either a submissive subject or an active rebel. Your daily actions, your handling of His instructions, and the fruit of your lifestyle are the evidence that will either vindicate you or convict you. Use this 15-point diagnostic to weigh your walk under the light of the written Word. Test 1: The Benchmark of Gathering "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad." — Matthew 12:30 The Question: Are your daily choices, your lifestyle, and the traditions you practice actively gathering people into covenant obedience to God's instructions, or are your actions scattering them away into compromise, lawlessness 1 John 3:4, and worldly customs? By saying "He who is not with Me is against Me," He eliminated any possibility of a "neutral ground." In a spiritual war, sitting on the fence is not an option. If you are not actively working for the Kingdom of Light, your existence naturally serves the Kingdom of Darkness. Are your daily choices, your lifestyle, and the traditions you practice actively gathering people into covenant obedience to God's instructions, or are your actions scattering them away into compromise, lawlessness, and worldly customs? Your Answer: [ ] YES, I am gathering / [ ] NO, I am scattering Test 2: The Benchmark of the Spirit "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him." — Acts 5:32 The Question: Does the spirit inside you cause you to humbly submit to and keep the Father's commandments (Ezekiel 36:27), or does it make excuses, calling obedience "legalism" while clinging to man-made traditions? (God only gives His true Spirit to those who obey Him). Your Answer: [ ] YES, it leads to obedience / [ ] NO, it rejects His law Test 3: The Benchmark of Truth "He who says, 'I know Him,' and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." — 1 John 2:4 The Question: When confronted with the plain instructions of Scripture, do you lay your life down flat to align with them, or do you pretend to know God through a mere "feeling" or traditional heritage while ignoring His laws? Your Answer: [ ] YES, the truth is in me / [ ] NO, I am deceiving myself Test 4: The Benchmark of Love "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." — John 13:35 The Question: Is your life marked by genuine, sacrificial love and service toward the brethren who walk in the truth, or is it hindered by pride, malice, or division? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 5: The Benchmark of Fruit "Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit... Therefore by their fruits you will know them." — Matthew 7:17, 20 The Question: Does the daily output of your life consistently produce the supernatural fruit of the Spirit—patience, kindness, goodness, and self-control—or do you still bear the bitter fruit of the flesh? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 6: The Benchmark of the Tongue "If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless." — James 1:26 The Question: Is your speech ruled by scriptural self-control, or is your tongue unbridled—frequently given over to anger, gossip, profane language, or tearing others down? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 7: The Benchmark of Separation "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." — 1 John 2:15 The Question: Have you consciously set yourself apart from worldly entertainment, fleshly standards, and pagan-rooted traditions because you love the Father more than the culture? Jeremiah 10:43 For the customs of the peoples are worthless; they cut down a tree from the forest; it is shaped with a chisel by the hands of a craftsman. 4 They adorn it with silver and gold and fasten it with hammer and nails, so that it will not totter. Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 8: The Benchmark of Action "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." — James 1:22 The Question: When you discover a direct command or truth written in the Scriptures, do you immediately adjust your life to execute it, or do you simply listen to it and remain unchanged? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 9: The Benchmark of Sovereignty "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other... You cannot serve God and mammon (money)." — Matthew 6:24 The Question: Does the Almighty possess total authority over how you acquire, manage, and distribute your financial resources, or does the pursuit of wealth, security, and personal comfort govern your choices? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 10: The Benchmark of Mercy "He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, but he who honors Him has mercy on the needy." — Proverbs 14:31 The Question: Do you actively demonstrate compassion, care, and tangible help to the poor, weak, or distressed when it is within your power to do so? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 11: The Benchmark of Correction "Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser..." — Proverbs 9:8-9 The Question: When another believer brings scriptural correction to expose an error or a sin in your walk, do you receive it with humility and appreciation, or do you respond with anger, pride, and self-defense? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 12: The Benchmark of Humility "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble... Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up." — James 4:6, 10 The Question: Are you genuinely willing to take the lowest seat, serve without recognition, and prioritize God's reputation above your own ego and the desire to be right? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 13: The Benchmark of Endurance "But he who endures to the end shall be saved." — Matthew 24:13 The Question: Do you remain steadfast in obeying God's truth when trials, persecution, or family rejection come against you, or do you compromise your walk to escape friction or pressure? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 14: The Benchmark of Pure Worship "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." — John 4:24 The Question: Do you worship God strictly according to the clean parameters defined in His Word, or do you try to honor Him using methods, calendars, and celebrations adopted from pagan cultures? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO Test 15: The Benchmark of Fear of Man "The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever treats the Lord shall be safe." — Proverbs 29:25 The Question: Is your ultimate goal to please the Master regardless of public opinion, or do you alter your speech, actions, and scriptural standards to seek the approval and validation of human beings? Your Answer: [ ] YES / [ ] NO ⚖️ Evaluating the Results If you answered YES to all 15: You are With God. Your eyes and ears have been opened by a soft heart, and the true Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) is operating inside you, giving you the supernatural power and desire to walk in His covenant statutes (Ezekiel 36:27). If you answered NO to any of them: You are Against God. This is the definition of spiritual blindness. By rejecting the light of His instructions in favor of your own comfort or man-made religious traditions, you have closed your own eyes. If you persist in this state, God will eventually confirm you in that darkness, making it so you can no longer hear or see the truth. "Choose this day whom you will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." — Joshua 24:15

Anyone that leads others away from obedience to Gods commandments is a false prophet your pastors have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; False Prophet False Salvation This diagnostic test tackles the scriptural criteria for identifying spiritual deception. I t directly contrasts the compromising, blind guides who water down the Torah for social acceptance or financial gain with the uncompromised standard of the good tree—one whose roots are anchored in the Law and whose physical fruits match the walk of the Messiah. 📋 The "Deception, Discipleship, and Fruit" Test Instructions: Answer these 4 direct questions honestly to evaluate the teaching you listen to, the leadership you follow, and the true nature of the fruit your own life is producing. Question 1: The Test of a Teacher (Deuteronomy 13 & Ezekiel 22) In Ezekiel 22:26, Yehovah rebukes the spiritual leaders, stating: "Her priests have done violence to My law... they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane... and they hide their eyes from My Sabbaths." According to the strict standard of Deuteronomy 13, how do you measure the legitimacy of a pastor, teacher, or guide? A) By Covenant Fidelity. If a teacher speaks smooth words but leads people away from keeping the Father's commandments, Sabbaths, and dietary boundaries, you recognize them biblical definition as a false prophet, no matter how large their ministry is . B) By Charisma and Popularity. You judge a leader by their eloquence, their emotional messages, or the size of their congregation, overlooking the fact that they actively teach against or minimize the continuing validity of the Torah. Question 2: The Definition of Fruit In Matthew 12:33, the Master declares: "The tree is known by its fruit." True fruit is not merely having a high intellectual understanding of the Bible, nor is it a set of emotional feelings. Based on scripture, what is the true definition of good fruit? A) Wholehearted Application . Good fruit is the visible, tangible result of a life that hears, understands, and physically does the Word of God—keeping the commandments and walking precisely as Yeshua walked (1 John 2:6). B) Verbal Confession and Intellect. You view fruit as talking about the Bible, debating theology, or having a sentimental affection for Jesus, even if the daily lifestyle remains completely unchanged and lawless. Question 3: The Evidence of the Seed The scripture states in 1 John 3:9–10: "Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning... Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God." Knowing that sin is defined as the transgression of the Law, what does your spiritual DNA reveal? A) Born of God. The seed of the Word remains in you, causing a deep internal resistance to breaking the Torah. You cannot comfortably live in ongoing, willful lawlessness because your life is dedicated to practicing righteousness. B) Children of Disobedience. You continue to follow human traditions and cultural habits that violate the commandments, rationalizing that "nobody is perfect" to justify an ongoing lifestyle of disobedience. Question 4: The Cost of Sowing in Good Soil The text explains that the one sown on good soil hears, understands, and produces fruit. However, the wholehearted application of the Word of God brings intense tribulation to the soul—including physical, social, economic, and emotional challenges. How do you respond to suffering for the sake of the Kingdom? A) You Endure the Fire. You choose the narrow path of obedience even when it causes painful rifts with family, financial loss, or social rejection, counting it an honor to suffer for the truth. B) You Avoid the Friction . You choose comfort and ease. If a commandment of God (like the Seventh-Day Sabbath) threatens your modern job, your hobbies, or your social standing, you quickly drop it to avoid the cost. The Separation Verdict: Examine your checked boxes with absolute candor. The mirror does not lie. If your choices consistently land on B, you are being led by the very wolves and blind guides the prophets warned about. True righteousness is not a theory; it is a practiced reality. Trees that refuse to bear the fruit of obedience are not neutral—the Master warned they are cut down and cast into the fire. Stop letting lawless teaching soothe your conscience. If you love the Messiah, turn your face away from the traditions of men, open your eyes to His Sabbaths, and let the good soil of your heart produce the uncompromised fruit of the Torah. False Prophet Anyone that leads others away from obedience to Gods commandments is a false prophet. Deuteronomy 13 Test In Ezekiel, Yehovah describes how pastors are doing violence to His laws. Ezekiel 22:26 "Her priests (your pastors) have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27 "Her princes within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to get dishonest gain.… God says: Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil can be distinguished: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.11 This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another. (Sin is transgression of the law) Yeshua uses the analogy of fruit and trees to identify false prophets. The fruit is the understanding of the Word of God as demonstrated in the results of a life that has understood and applied the Word of God accurately. Matthew 12:33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit. As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. The tree is the person, the fruit is the resulting quality of life (not the understanding of the Word of God but rather its proper application). There are many who understand and don’t apply and therefore do not yield good fruit) — the person is known by its fruit or lack thereof. Notice that it defines what was sown in the soil to produce the good tree — hears, understands, and produces good fruit as it was already defined as a good tree. The wholehearted application of the Word of God, or doing the Word of God, will bring tribulation to the soul in physical, social, economic, psychological, and emotional challenges…or sufferings for the sake of the kingdom – Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. So, then how do we qualify or disqualify the fruit that Yeshua is talking about? However, one who has a heart that chooses to disregard God's law has NO DESIRE to follow God's law. Matthew 7:20 Thus, by their fruit, you will recognize them Matt. 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves Verse 16 “By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? “ Matthew 7:17 “Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.” Matthew 7:18... “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.” ” This lets us know what should be in the heart of all His people. And IF... it’s in our heart, then IT WILL BE our desire to pursue. And if it’s NOT in one's heart then it will be evidenced in their desire to NOT pursue it. You either desire to obey it OR you desire to disregard it. They CAN’T be mixed. It seems hard to make a judgment about your pastor as a false prophet when your lifestyle is the same as theirs. The fruit that we are to watch out for is the choosing to disregard God's law. Everything else can be blended but there is no blending the desire to obey and the desire to disregard God's Law. It’s one or the other in the eyes of the Father. And remember, breaking one law is like breaking all of it. Proverbs 15:13 The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and bring shame on themselves. Proverbs 14:11 The house of the wicked will be destroyed, But the tent of the upright will flourish. 12 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. 1 John 3:5 Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, (sin is transgression of the law). 1 John 3:9 Because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 (By this the children of God and the children of the devil can be distinguished:) Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who doesn't love his brother. 11 This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another. The next verses should confirm for persons who challenge Yehovah’s word with cherry-picked verses that are taken out of context. Or those who make statements suggesting Yehovah is somehow punishing Israel and blessing the church. Essentially saying there are different rules for different groups. Isaiah 53:6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the Yehovah has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.… Yeshua. ● Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? 1 Corinthians 3:3 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 John 3:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ● Ecclesiastes 12:14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Proverbs 28: 9 He who turns away his ear from listening to the law, Even his prayer is an abomination. 10 He who leads the upright astray in an evil way will himself fall into his own pit, But the blameless will inherit good.… ● Proverbs 2:1 My son, if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you; 2 Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; 3 For if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; … 2 Peter 3: 6 He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 Therefore, beloved, since you already know these things, be on your guard not to be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure standing.… 1 John 3:4 Everyone who practices sin practices lawlessness as well. Indeed, sin is lawlessness. Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them. “But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith. “Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” Yeshua has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Yeshua, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

SAcrifice will resume WILL HUMANITY SURVIVE? We are living in humanity’s grand experiment in governing itself without God. Can the 193 United Nations member states ever find the way to world peace? History should make the answer plain! The twentieth century brought two world wars responsible for the deaths of tens of millions and violent tyrannies that killed millions of innocent civilians. It brought humanity to the brink of nuclear self-annihilation. Even today, biological, chemical, nuclear, and other threats keep our planet on the brink of disaster and destruction. So, will planet Earth survive at all? Is there any hope for world peace? Many do not know that the Bible predicts specific events leading up to the end of this age. We read, “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matthew 24:21–22 ). But who will shorten those days to save us? Your Bible reveals that Christ will return to this earth to prevent total cosmocide. Danger is ahead, but Scripture also shares the awesome good news of a coming world government under the King of kings. Until He comes, what should we do? Many try to “live for today” and enjoy all they can, avoiding the sobering reality of what is to come. But Christ wants us to be different. He admonishes us to “take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34–36 ). This article will examine seven trends or signs for which we should be watching. As we watch, we will know that we are approaching that wonderful day when Jesus Christ will return and the seventh trumpet will sound. “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!’” (Revelation 11:15 ). Will you be ready to meet Him when He comes? You will, if you follow His commands as you prepare. So, look for these seven signs! 1. GROWING DANGER OF NUCLEAR WAR Despite many treaties meant to control the proliferation of nuclear weapons, experts are worried. One agency reports that, since 2016, “there has been significant backsliding on the standards related to arms control and risk reduction” (“Assessing Progress on Nuclear Nonproliferation and Disarmament,” Arms Control Association, July 2019, p. v). In addition to the known nuclear nations—Russia, the United States, France, China, the United Kingdom, Israel, India, Pakistan, and North Korea—the report looked at Iran and Syria, where biological and other forms of deadly weaponry are also being researched, and found “evidence that Iran, North Korea, and Syria all engaged in illicit trafficking of dual-use [weapon and non-weapon] materials and technologies” (p. vi). Will Russia detonate one of its estimated 6,850 nuclear weapons in a coming war? Will the United States detonate one of its 6,550? We should remember that mankind’s pattern is not to let technology sit unused. Last January, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists reminded us of this danger: “The current situation—in which intersecting nuclear, climate, and information warfare threats all go insufficiently recognized and addressed, when they are not simply ignored or denied—is unsustainable. The longer world leaders and citizens carelessly inhabit this new and abnormal reality, the more likely the world is to experience a catastrophe of historic proportions.” The Bulletin called our present situation “a new abnormal” (“A new abnormal: It is still 2 minutes to midnight,” Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, 2019). Sadly, your Bible confirms that humanity is not finished with war. Scripture foretells World War III, when a huge army will move west across the Euphrates River. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths (Revelation 9:16–18 ). As shocking as it may seem, one-third of all human beings will die in a future world war! Watch for the development of nuclear capabilities on the world scene. 2. EARTHQUAKES AND OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS As we saw above, floods and fires continue to ravage our planet and seem to be increasing. Consider the following comments by this magazine’s Editor in Chief, Evangelist Gerald E. Weston, in his eye-opening booklet Acts of God: Why Natural Disasters? : Hawaii is a very popular tourist destination, as are the islands of the South Pacific. These beautiful volcanic islands are the stuff of songs and musicals. But as we know, volcanoes can be very dangerous to anyone living too close to them. Thousands of people perished in Pompeii and the surrounding area when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D. Fifty-seven people died when Mount St. Helens erupted May 18, 1980…. There were warning signs of a catastrophe in the making, just as there had been before Mt. Vesuvius erupted. The north side of St. Helens bulged some 300 feet and was growing five to six feet a day. Warnings to evacuate the area were given, but as is often the case, people do not heed such warnings: “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; the simple pass on and are punished” (Proverbs 27:12 ). As we saw earlier, natural disasters cause both human and financial devastation. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reported in late 2019 that since 1980, the U.S. had suffered over $1.7 trillion in financial losses as a result of 254 major weather events that each cost the nation more than $1 billion. Last year was the fifth consecutive year in which the U.S. suffered ten or more separate billion-dollar disaster events (“Billion-Dollar Weather and Climate Disasters: Overview,” NCDC.NOAA.gov, October 8, 2019). Altogether, natural disasters conservatively cost the United States $91 billion in 2018, according to the NOAA, while several insurance companies such as Munich Re present even higher estimates. And these figures are just for U.S. losses. One single event in 2011—the March 11 earthquake and tsunami that damaged Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant—has been tied to more than 20,000 deaths and $360 billion in economic damage. This compares to “just” $250 billion in damage and additional economic impact in the U.S. from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. We could go on listing these events and lamenting the suffering they cause, yet your Bible reveals that today’s worst disasters pale in comparison to what will happen before Christ returns at the end of this age. The book of Revelation explains: “And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth” (16:18). Scripture reveals that terrible times are ahead, before Christ’s return . “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:7–8 ). Of course, preparing for the occasional emergency or natural disaster is prudent. But while “doomsday preppers” stockpile vast amounts of food, water, and resources, the only preparation that will ultimately protect you from what is coming on the whole world is to stay close to your Savior and do what He tells you to do! 3. A UNITED EUROPE SEEKS GLOBAL PRIMACY The European Union has experienced the challenge of “Brexit”—the controversy surrounding British voters’ choice to leave the European Union and the consequences of that vote. The EU is also struggling with problems caused by massive flows of refugees and other immigrants, some of whom bring to their new countries the very different values of the countries they left behind. Smaller and weaker EU nations chafe as Germany strives to exert a leadership role proportionate to its economic strength, while all are left unnerved by the uncertain nature of the United States’ commitment to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Many perceive that only a strong and charismatic power can bring unity to the struggling EU. In fact, your Bible prophesies that such a leader is coming, symbolized as a beast with seven heads and ten horns. God reveals the meaning of this symbol: “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast” (Revelation 17:12–13 ). Ten kings or kingdoms will support this charismatic leader, producing a powerful, unified force. Currently, the European Union is not so unified, but watch for international events that will spur a future combination of nations in Europe to fulfill a final revival of the historic Roman Empire, which will dominate the world politically and militarily. Notice the description of its power: “And all the world marveled and followed the beast… and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?’” (Revelation 13:3–4 ). The world power structure will change dramatically over the coming years. Watch developments in Europe as an ascendant European Union seeks and ultimately achieves global primacy. 4. A POWERFUL LEADER UNITES BILLIONS IN A RELIGIOUS REVIVAL We’ve seen the prophecy that a great superpower will ascend on the world scene, but notice that there’s another world figure also described as a beast. This symbolic beast has two horns like a lamb. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived (Revelation 13:11–14 ). Jesus Christ is called the Lamb of God. By contrast, this religious imposter will appear Christian while speaking like a dragon. You need to watch for an internationally respected religious figure who will influence a European political and military superpower. You must not let him deceive you, though his miracle-working deceptions will cause billions to follow him and his false religion. Notice: “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:9 ). One of the false prophet’s lying wonders will be to call down fire from heaven, as we saw in Revelation 13:13 . The Apostle Paul emphasizes that this false prophet will be a servant of Satan, not of God, and will be judged at the coming of the King of kings, Jesus Christ: “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming” (2 Thessalonians 2:8 ). Watch religious trends in Europe, where a great religious revival will draw billions to a false and lawless religion. 5. THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION Jesus gave us a vital warning sign: “‘Therefore when you see the “abomination of desolation,” spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place’ (whoever reads, let him understand), ‘then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains’” (Matthew 24:15–16 ). If you’ve read the books of Daniel and Matthew in your Bible, you may have been puzzled by the mysterious “abomination of desolation.” What is it, and what does it mean in end-time prophecy? Clearly, this is an important sign to understand. It signals when God’s people are to flee and escape the final three-and-a-half-year sequence of end-time prophetic devastations. Historically, the Greek ruler Antiochus Epiphanes issued a decree in 167 BC that prohibited the Jews from making temple sacrifices. We read, “And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation” (Daniel 11:31 ). Antiochus not only stopped the daily sacrifices, but also erected in the temple a statue of Jupiter Olympus and directed everyone to worship it. This event, also described in Daniel 8, prefigured a prophesied end-time milestone. “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days” (Daniel 12:11 ). Yes, 1,290 days before Jesus Christ’s Second Coming, animal sacrifices will again be stopped! Jesus warns Christians to be alert to an end-time abomination of desolation! Just as Antiochus Epiphanes profaned the Temple and cut off the sacrifices in 167 BC, so will a profane authority cut off Jewish sacrifices in the future! You need to watch for developments in Israel that will lead to the restoration of animal sacrifices by religious Jews, and for developments leading to an international treaty allowing these sacrifices. 6. THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD PREACHED TO ALL NATIONS Jesus gave this sign signifying the end of man’s failed attempts to produce world peace: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14 ). You’ve been reading that Gospel in this magazine, which proclaims tomorrow’s world and the Kingdom of God on Earth. Yes, the world-ruling Kingdom of God will bring peace and prosperity to all nations of the earth. It will be ruled by the King of kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. In fact, Jesus came preaching that Gospel or good news: “Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel’” (Mark 1:14–15 ). The prophet Isaiah reveals an inspiring promise of the Messiah’s world-ruling kingdom of peace: “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:6–7 ). Today’s world of conflicts, oppression, and wars will be replaced by the Kingdom of God—the government of God. “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever’” (Revelation 11:15 ). 7. HEAVENLY SIGNS AND THE DAY OF THE LORD Many who watch world news and study Bible prophecy know that a cosmic disturbance in the heavens will shock everyone on earth. Some Bibles include a header above Revelation 6:12 , calling attention to this disturbance: “Sixth Seal: Cosmic Disturbances”—but what does that refer to? Does it mean the recent “blood moon” lunar eclipses that captured so much attention? We read the following: I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” (vv. 12–17). So-called “blood moon” eclipses certainly remind us of this prophesied event, but the real thing will be far, far more impressive—even terrifying—and will not be explainable by the positions of the Earth, Sun, and Moon. These prophesied cosmic disturbances will herald the Day of the Lord, the “great day of His [Christ’s] wrath.” Through Scripture, God warns us in advance of future judgments. The Moon will be turned to the color of blood and the Sun will become dark. Thousands of meteors will light up the sky. Yes, judgment is coming on all nations of planet Earth. How can you escape the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord? Our Savior admonishes us to “take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34–36 ). WATCH AND PREPARE FOR CHRIST’S RETURN! Some preachers misleadingly teach that we cannot understand prophecy and that Jesus Christ may return at any moment. On the contrary, as we have seen from the Bible, and as you can know from other Tomorrow’s World publications, there is a specific prophetic framework in which you can have confidence. But what about you, personally? You may die at any time and wake up to the resurrection of the saints, or to a resurrection of judgment. You cannot afford to delay in responding to your Savior! We look forward to the return of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, to rule all nations and establish the Kingdom of God on Earth for a thousand years. What is your greatest goal? Your Bible gives us the most important and vital goal we could ever set: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33 ). Watch for these seven signs of Christ’s return, prepare, and pray, “Your kingdom come” (Matthew 6:10 ). For more on this subject, order our free booklet, “Fourteen Signs Announcing Christ’s Return.”

Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, what should we do?”Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God and be baptized in the name of Yeshua for the forgiveness of your sins. then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Salvation False Savation Grace Repentance Can we lose your Salvation Hebrews 10:26-31 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[a ] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[b ] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; What are the 16 steps to salvation? Hear the Gospel. (Matthew 4:17John 8:32) Believe the Gospel (Hebrews 11:6, John 20:31) Repent of past sins (Luke 13:3, Acts 17:30) Confess faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:10, Matthew 10:32) Be Baptized (Galatians 3:27, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38) Be faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10) For all who obey him eternal salvation Hebrews 5:9 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.1 John 2:6 But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1:2 And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. Romans 8:1 We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.” Acts 5:32 “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.Romans 10:13-15 For But if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments. Matthew 19:16-26 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life…John 3:15,16 For we live by faith, not by sight. (Hebrews 11:6) And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.2 Corinthians 5:7 And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” John 3: Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”John 3:3 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. James 2:17-23 Faith is Scripturally defined as: Faith is: believing that everything God said is true, committing to follow what it says, and then doing what the Word says. In other words, believing/trusting, committing to obey or do, and then the action of obeying/doing it. Another way we say it is that faith is believing, committing, and trusting in God and His Word. All of mankind is “under the law” (The law of sin and death) until they come into covenant through faith in the Messiah and receive salvation by grace through that faith. God’s Children through Faith 23 Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak until the way of faith was revealed. 24 Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. 25 And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian. 26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes’ 28There is no longer Jew or Gentile slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. The way for us to be saved is to believe that we have sinned and deserve death because the Word says so. John 3:3 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of Yehovah." Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to Yehovah and be baptized in the name of Yeshua Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 28:9 He that turned away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination. Ecclesiastes 12:13 That's the whole story. Here now is my conclusion: Fear Yehovah and obey His commands, for this is everyone's duty. Galatians 3:28 T here is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Yeshua. James 1:22 But don't just listen to Yehovah’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. “Then Yehovah said to me, shout the message! Don't hold back. Say to my people Israel: You've sinned! You've turned against Yehovah your Elohim. Isaiah 58:1 "When you tell them all this, do not expect them to listen. Shout out your warnings but do not expect them to respond. Say to them, ‘This is the nation whose people will not obey the Lord their God and who refuse to be taught. (Jeremiah 7:27) (This is a Child of the Devil) For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. “John 4:24 Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Romans 12:1-2 Truth is God’s Torah You must be led by the Spirit Gal 5:18 This text brings the entire purpose of the Covenant into absolute, razor-sharp focus. It dismantles the false doctrine that "faith" is merely an emotional sentiment or a mental nod. Scripturally, faith is a three-part substance: Believing, Committing, and Doing. When Galatians speaks of being delivered from the "guardian" of the law, it means that before faith, we were prisoners locked in protective custody under the law of sin and death because we had no power to overcome the flesh. But through faith, we are born again, receive the Holy Spirit, and are finally given the supernatural capability to do what the Word says. 📋 The "Faith, Covenant, and Action" Summary Test Instructions: Answer these final 4 structural questions to see if your definition of faith aligns with the unchanging Word of Yehovah. Question 1: The Three-Part Definition of Faith Based on the scriptural definition provided, true biblical faith cannot be cut into pieces. It must include all three parts of the engine. How is your faith operating? A) Believing, Committing, and Doing. You believe everything God said is true, you have committed your life to follow it, and you are actively doing the physical requirements of His Word (the Torah). B) Mental Belief Only. You claim to "trust" or "believe" in Jesus, but your walk lacks the physical action of keeping His commandments, meaning you are only listening to the word and fooling yourself (James 1:22). Question 2: The Role of the Guardian (Galatians 3) Before the way of faith was revealed, humanity was locked under guard by the law because of our sin. Now that you have come into covenant through the Messiah, what is your relationship to the Father's instructions? A) Clothed in Christ to Walk in Truth. You are a child of God and an heir to Abraham (Galatians 3:29). Because you are led by the Spirit, you are no longer a condemned prisoner under the law of sin and death; instead, you present your body as a living sacrifice to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (His Torah) (Romans 12:1-2). B) Living Carelessly Under the Guise of "Freedom." You use the phrase "no longer under the law" as an excuse to ignore the Father's statutes, missing the point that Christ came to deliver us from sin, not to give us permission to commit it. Question 3: The Abomination of the Closed Ear In Proverbs 28:9, the Sovereign issues a stark warning about the spiritual mechanics of prayer: "He that turned away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination." When you approach the Father in prayer, what is the state of your ear? A) Unstopped and Submissive. You open your ears to His written laws first, adjusting your lifestyle, food, and calendar to match His voice, so that your prayers are acceptable in His sight. B) Deaf to the Torah . You willfully plug your ears to the specific laws of the Old Testament, yet you expect God to hear, answer, and bless your prayers in a state of continuous disobedience. Question 4: The Watchman's Shout (Isaiah 58 & Jeremiah 7) The Father commanded His watchmen: "Shout the message! Don't hold back... Say to my people: You've sinned!" Yet He warned in Jeremiah that the people would not listen or respond. When the hard, straight truth of the Scriptures confronts your current lifestyle, which nation do you align with? A) The Repentant Remnant. You hear the warning, accept the correction, undergo the baptism of repentance (Acts 2:38), and recognize that your ultimate duty on this earth is to fear Yehovah and obey His commands (Ecclesiastes 12:13). B) The Nation That Refuses to Be Taught . You hear the shout of the warning, but you harden your neck, refuse to respond, and continue following human traditions, matching the exact description of the children of disobedience. 🛑 The Final Diagnostic Verdict Scripture leaves zero room for neutrality. "For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24) If your lifestyle consistently hits the B markers, the diagnosis is absolute: you are operating in a counterfeit faith that the Bible defines as dead. A faith that refuses to submit to the Torah is a faith that has never been born again. The sifting is complete, the standard has been laid down, and the tests are done. Do not fool yourself any longer with empty words or the smooth traditions of men. Let the seed of the Word take root in good soil, present your body as a living sacrifice, and start physically doing what the King commanded while there is still time to cross the border into His Kingdom! Believe without obedience What is God's definition of a Christian? Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. What is Yeshua definition of a Christian Matthew 19:17“Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. But to answer your question—if you want to receive eternal life, keep the commandments.” 1 John 2: 3 And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. 4 If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. 5 But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. 6 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. Heb 5:9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, ESV And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him .” Acts 5:32 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Why did Jesus have to die for you? If you don't know why Christ had to die for you, What is sin? 4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness you are not saved and never converted. What are the end results of being let by the Spirit? It is obedience to the law of God Revelation 12:17 7 And the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keeps the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Children of God …7 Little children, let no one deceive you: The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as Christ is righteous. 8 The one who practices sin is of the devil because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.… If ye love me, keep my commandments. Who is Mystery Babylon? The Fall of Babylon the Great 1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” 4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ 8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. The World Mourns Babylon’s Fall 9“The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, 10standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’ 11“And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise any more: 12merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; 13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. 14 The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ 19“They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour, she is made desolate.’ 20“Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God, has avenged you on her!” Finality of Babylon’s Fall 21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence, the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore. 22 The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. 23 The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.”

Repentance is the key by which we can enter His Kingdom, the way by which we are cleansed to be like Him, and the way He heals a nation. Most of us feel pretty good about ourselves, we don't want anyone to point out anything that make us feel uncomfortable about anything, especially salvation. Repentance video True Repentance Test (Answer Yes or No to each): Have you openly admitted (to God and/or the person(s) you wronged) exactly what you did without making excuses or minimizing it? Do you now hate the sin you once loved or excused?[ ] YES [ ] NO Are you actively seeking accountability (a trusted mentor, pastor, or group) to help you stay on the right path?[ ] YES [ ] NO Has your daily life and choices begun to show real change in that area (not perfection, but clear progress)?[ ] YES [ ] NO Are you willing to resist temptation even when no one is watching?[ ] YES [ ] NO Do you desire a restored relationship with God more than you desire returning to the sin? [ ] YES [ ] NO Here are 10 questions designed to test whether a person's repentance is a deep work of the Holy Spirit or just a superficial cover. Scoring / Interpretation: 8–10 Yes answers: Strong evidence of genuine repentance. 5–7 Yes answers: Partial repentance — there is some sincerity, but incomplete turning. 0–4 Yes answers: Likely just regret or remorse, not full biblical repentance. True repentance produces fruit — changed behavior, humility, and a new direction (see Matthew 3:8 To complete this examination of the heart, we must look at the turning point: Repentance (Teshuvah). True scriptural repentance is not just a passing emotional feeling or an apology to God; it means a literal change of direction, turning your back on lawlessness and returning to the Father's commandments. Question 11: The Root Motivation of Your Sorrow When you feel broken or upset over a sin you committed, what is causing the pain? A) Godly Sorrow: You are deeply grieved because you realized you violated the holiness of Yehovah, broke His covenant, and brought shame to His Name (2 Corinthians 7:10). B) Worldly Sorrow: You are upset because you got caught, because you have to face embarrassing social consequences, or because your own self-image as a "good person" was damaged. Question 12: The Speed of the Turn When the Holy Spirit illuminates a specific area of compromise or disobedience in your life, what is your timeline for fixing it? A) Immediate mobilization. You don't wait for a convenient season, a new year, or a better financial situation; you stop the behavior and change your patterns that very hour. B) You plan to repent "eventually." You tell yourself you will get around to it once things settle down, once your family is on board, or after the next holiday season. Question 13: Dealing with the "Scaffolding" of Sin When you turn away from a specific transgression, what do you do with the environments, tools, or relationships that fed that sin? A) You cut them off completely and burn the bridges (Acts 19:19). You delete the accounts, throw out the unclean items, and change your circles to protect the standard of truth. B) You try to keep them around "just in case," lingering near the edge of the temptation and relying on your own willpower instead of physically removing the snare. Question 14: Restitution and Making Things Right If your past lawlessness or compromise caused physical, financial, or emotional damage to another person: A) You actively seek them out to confess, humble yourself, and make restitution or restore what was broken, just like Zacchaeus did (Luke 19:8). B) You sweep it under the rug, saying, "Well, God forgave me, so the past is the past," leaving your neighbor to bear the weight of the damage you caused. Question 15: The Target of Your Return When you say you are "repenting," what are you actually returning to? A) You are returning directly to the King and His explicit, written instructions (Torah), bringing your physical walk into alignment with His ancient paths. B) You are returning to a set of church rules, human traditions, or a comfortable religious routine that makes you feel safe without demanding a change in your physical lifestyle. Question 16: The "Repentance Loop" Pattern Look closely at the sins you have been confessing over the last few months or years. What does the pattern look like? A) Progressive victory. While you may stumble occasionally, you can see a distinct, permanent line where old lawless habits have been broken and replaced by stable obedience. B) A revolving door. You find yourself constantly confessing the exact same willful compromises week after week, using the confession as a temporary reset button so you can go back out and commit the same act again. Question 17: Self-Justification vs. Open Confession When you lay your life bare before the Father in prayer regarding your shortcomings: A) You make zero excuses. You call the sin exactly what God calls it in the text—rebellion, filth, or lawlessness—and you accept full responsibility. B) You minimize and pad the confession with explanations: "I was tired," "Everyone else does it," "It's just my personality," or "My circumstances forced my hand." Question 18: Fruits Worthy of Repentance John the Baptist famously told the religious leaders to "Produce fruit in keeping with repentance" (Matthew 3:8). If someone watched your life from the outside, what evidence would they see? A) Visible, undeniable changes in your physical behavior, your diet, your calendar, your speech, and how you manage your household. B) Only verbal claims. You talk about repentance and grace, but your daily lifestyle, your house, and your priorities look identical to how they looked before you "repented." Question 19: The Posture Toward the Lawless World After you have truly repented and tasted the goodness of walking in God's ways, how do you view your old lifestyle? A) You look back at it with a sober sense of rescue, viewing your former lawless deeds with the same distaste you would have for filth. B) You look back at it with a lingering nostalgia, secretly wishing you could still participate in the world's ways or feeling envious of those who still live without the boundaries of God's law. Question 20: The Broken Spirit vs. The Demanding Spirit What is your internal attitude toward God after you have confessed your failures? A) A broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17). You are filled with immense gratitude for His mercy, recognizing that you deserve nothing but the curses of the law, yet He gave you space to turn and live. B) An attitude of entitlement. You feel that because you said an apology, God now "owes" you a smooth life, financial blessings, or immediate relief from trouble, and you get angry if trials continue. 🧱 The Foundation of the Narrow Gate Repentance is the very first step of the Gospel. If the enemy can deceive a person into accepting a fake, emotion-only repentance that never alters their physical obedience to the Torah, he has successfully kept them on the broad road to destruction. True repentance always melts a hardened heart, making it soft, moldable, and eager to do exactly what the Father commanded. IF a specific question hit a nerve or exposed a "B" answer you didn't want to admit, that is actually a massive blessing. It means the nerve endings are still alive. "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion." — Hebrews 3:15 Don't let the enemy condemn you into running away; let the Holy Spirit lead you into a swift, physical turn (Teshuvah) back to the ancient paths. Pick the single biggest area of compromise revealed by this test and bring it into alignment today. Factual Note: Repentance (Hebrew: Teshuvah / Greek: Metanoia) is the essential first step to salvation. It means turning back to Yahweh and obeying His instructions through the Messiah Yahshua (יֵשׁוּעַ — “Yahweh saves”). Ancient Semitic understanding viewed repentance as a physical and spiritual return to the covenant path. Yahshua preached: “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). True repentance always leads to proper baptism in Yahshua’s name, walking in the Spirit, and keeping Yahweh’s commandments. Reader pay attention 4 For how can those who abandon their faith be brought back to repent again? They were once in God's light; they tasted heaven's gift and received their share of the Holy Spirit; 5 they knew from experience that God's word is good, and they had felt the powers of the coming age. 6 And then they abandoned their faith! It is impossible to bring them back to repent because they are again crucifying the Son of God and exposing him to public shame. Hebrews 6:4 Mark 3:29“But he who blasphemes (present tense) against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness but is subject to eternal condemnation “It does not state that the one who “blasphemed” (past tense) the Spirit never has forgiveness. At one time, we all blasphemed the Spirit because we all hated the Word of God...until we came into the faith and started growing to love the Word of God. Do you see the difference? It is the one who is actively and currently engaged in disobeying the Word of God, habitually, without care or concern, without love for the Word, that does not have forgiveness. Thus, if you love the Word of God, and have a desire to practice the Word of God, then you are not blaspheming or despising the Spirit of God...because it is the Spirit of God that is the desire in our heart to go after His Torah. There is a difference between currently being unrepentant and blaspheming the Spirit or hating the Word of God....that person never has forgiveness....and then the person that blasphemed the Spirit and repented, and loves to walk in His Torah just as our Messiah taught and practiced...it is he that has forgiveness. 119 Ministries Mark 1:14 “The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!” Luke 3:8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones, God can raise up children for Abraham. If God's laws have been done away with, then how can you repent? Repent from what? “Repentance is a prerequisite to belief. What is repentance? Its basic meaning is” "to change" or "to turn." Once a person hears the gospel and is convicted that his way of life is wrong, he must change his or her behavior and turn back to the Torah. Yehovah calls Torah His instructions for His children. People may identify your obedience in following the Torah as a conversion to Judaism. They seem to forget our Savior is Jewish and what he said about all who are in Christ is one? If sin is breaking the Torah. Obedience would be keeping the Torah. To grieve; want to change; a complete change of thinking. Change your mind toward sin, a decision to forsake sin and obey God. (sin is the transgression of the Law); To turn around; to do a 180; When we repent, we see these three steps? We feel guilty about our sin, which is the transgression of the Torah. We stop practicing sin. We turned away from sin and began walking with God. John 3:8 “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit worthy of repentance. 1 John 2:15-16 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, because all that is in the world (the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) is not from the Father but is from the world. Repentance is not merely feeling sorry or remorseful, but being so stricken in one's heart that one seeks the cleansing of baptism and begins to live according to God's standards - according to God's law. Remorse without a corresponding change in conduct is not repentance! The fruits of repentance are visible actions - often called "works" - that show that a person has indeed changed. When John the Baptist preached repentance to prepare the way for Yeshua's ministry, his audience asked him what they should do to repent. He answers: Luke 3:10-14 Clothe the naked, feed the hungry, do not steal, do not use one's authority to oppress, do not lie or accuse falsely, and be content with one's wages. ● Mark 1:15 Yeshua said, "Come in the form of an urgent command: "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." These actions are obeying God's laws and showing love for one's neighbor. ● Matthew 19:17 Yeshua said, "If you want to enter into eternal life, keep the commandments" John 12:49-50 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has Himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that His commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me. To follow God's instructions, you need to go to where they are first mentioned in the bible. Follow the written instruction of the Torah, the first five books of your bible, not your pastor or any man. Psalm 146:2 I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. 3 Do not trust in princes, in mortal man, in whom there is no salvation. 4 His spirit departs; he returns to the earth; In that very day his thoughts perish. Ezekiel 22:26 "Her priests (pastors) have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27 "Her princes within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to get dishonest gain.… Matthew 15:8 These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’” Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. 2 Corinthians 13:15 Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Examine yourselves [not me]! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves [by an ongoing experience] that Yeshua is in you—unless indeed you fail the test and are rejected as counterfeit?

  • Are you Born again | Answers 4 Saints

Are you Born again Worship God in Spirit and Truth The Gospel Deuteronomy 13 TEST Are you a true Christian? John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Meaning: “God so loved the world” — God's love extends to all people. “He gave his one and only Son” — God sent His Son for the salvation of mankind. “Whoever believes in him” — The promise is available to anyone who places their faith and trust in Him. “Shall not perish” — Believers are delivered from eternal separation from God. “But have eternal life” — They receive everlasting life with God. Simple Summary: John 3:16 teaches that God loved humanity so much that He gave His Son so that those who believe in Him may receive eternal life rather than perish. Context: These words were spoken by Jesus during a conversation with Nicodemus about the necessity of being born again and entering the Kingdom of God. Are you Born again Yes, that is a profound structural truth in God's plan. Yeshua was literally the first human to be physically raised from the dead into an immortal, glorified body. Scripture calls Him "the firstborn from the dead" (Colossians 1:18) and the "firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep" (1 Corinthians 15:20). By looking at Christ's physical resurrection, we get the exact blueprint for what happens to the saints. The Pattern: Firstfruits and the Harvest In the biblical agricultural cycle—which God uses to explain His plan of salvation—the priest would wave the single sheaf of the Firstfruits harvest before the Father. Only after that first sheaf was accepted could the rest of the harvest be gathered. Yeshua fulfilled this perfectly. He rose as the perfect Firstfruits. Because He broke the power of physical death, those who belong to Him will follow the exact same pattern when He returns. The Ultimate Transformation When the saints are raised at His second coming, they don't return as temporary, mortal flesh like Lazarus did. They receive a physical, permanent, immortal body just like the one Yeshua walked out of the tomb with. As Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:52-53: "...the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." Connecting Physical Resurrection to the Law This physical reality hits modern church traditions with an undeniable challenge: If Yeshua is the firstborn of a brand-new creation, and we are waiting to be physically raised into glorified bodies just like His, why would we live our temporary lives in rebellion to the laws He obeyed? When Yeshua walked the earth in His physical body, He perfectly kept the Sabbath, the dietary laws, and the Feasts. When He rose from the dead, He didn't change. For a Christian to claim they are waiting to inherit a resurrection body like Christ's, while actively treating His Father's commandments as dead, is a total disconnect. "Yeshua told Nicodemus that what is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit, moving like the wind. If you claim you are already fully 'born again' right now, why are you still trapped in a temporary body of flesh and blood instead of a glorified, immortal spirit body? Are you confusing the earnest promise of the Holy Spirit inside you today with the actual, physical rebirth that only happens at the resurrection of the dead?" Jesus Teaches Nicodemus 3 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.[ a ]” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[ b ] gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You[ c ] must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”[ d ] 9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. 10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.[ e ] 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,[f ] 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 1. "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart" Meaning: Total dependence on God, not self-reliance (Prov 28:26). Insight: Relational surrender to God’s unchanging character. 2. "And lean not unto thine own understanding" Meaning: Reject intellectual pride; human wisdom is flawed (Prov 14:12). 3. "In all thy ways acknowledge him" Meaning: Constant God-consciousness in every area (Col 3:17). Insight: Turns daily life into guided obedience. 4. "And he shall direct thy paths" Meaning: God’s promise of sovereign guidance (Ps 37:23).

AD 364 (Ecclesiastical Prohibition – Council of Laodicea): Canon 29: The regional council formally banned Christians from observing the seventh-day Sabbath rest and enforced Sunday observance under penalty of excommunication: Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, God will take away from that person any share in the Tree of Life and blot your name out. The Disciples Kept the Sabbath 85 Times in the book of Acts Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. 17( Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18 For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.…) Churches Who Teach Us to Keep Sunday Admit It’s NOT the Sabbath of the Bible What is the Sabbath and what should we do? God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? I have indeed received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot change it.… Numbers 23:19-20 This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Hebrews 8:10 The Lord of the Sabbath Then Jesus declared, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”…Matthew 12: 7 If only you had known the meaning of ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent. 8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” 9 Moving on from there, Yeshua entered their synagogue,…Mark 2:27 Proper Sabbath Keeping Audit Answer YES or NO honestly to each: Do you observe the Sabbath on the 7th day (Saturday), from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday? How "First Day of the Week" Entered the Text The phrase "first day of the week" found in modern English Bibles is not a direct translation of the original text. It is a calculated linguistic substitution designed to align the Scriptures with a Roman calendar system rather than the Creator's calendar. The Confrontation: "You base an entire doctrine of Sunday worship on a handful of resurrection verses, claiming the Master changed the day of rest. But you are basing your theology on a translation choices made centuries later. When you pull back the English cover and look at the original manuscripts, the phrase 'Sunday' or 'first day of the week' completely vanishes. Read Matthew 28:1 and John 20:1." The Verse: * Matthew 28:1 (Literal Greek): "Ὀψὲ δὲ σαββάτων, τῇ ἐπιφωσκούσῃ εἰς μίαν σαββάτων..." * King James Version (With added words): "In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week..." The Shock: "The literal text completely dismantles the traditional Sunday narrative: The Original Greek: In every single resurrection account, the manuscripts do not contain the words for 'first day of the week.' The text explicitly reads mia tōn sabbatōn (μία τῶν σαββάτων), which literally translates to 'the first of the Sabbaths.' This is direct Hebrew covenant language referencing the countdown of the seven weekly Sabbaths leading up to Pentecost (Leviticus 23:15). The Ancient Translations: The earliest historical translations kept this link intact. Jerome’s Latin Vulgate (382 AD) rendered it literally as 'Una autem sabbati' ('The first of the Sabbath'). Wycliffe’s English Bible (1382) followed suit, translating it straight as 'one day of the sabotis' ('one day of the Sabbaths'). The 16th-Century Shift: The change occurred in the 1500s with William Tyndale and was later formalized by the King James Version in 1611. Translators swapped out 'Sabbath' for the idiom 'first day of the week' to match the Roman solar calendar. To force this interpretation, the KJV translators had to insert the words 'day of the' in italics, openly admitting those words do not exist in the Greek manuscripts. The Bottom Line: The phrase 'first day of the week' is a later human modification. The original accounts do not inaugurate a new day of worship; they explicitly anchor the resurrection timeline directly to the Hebrew Sabbath calendar." The Sign of the Sabbath Exodus 31:14 (Numbers 15:32–36) 12 And the LORD said to Moses, 13“Tell the Israelites, ‘Surely you must keep My Sabbaths, for this will be a sign between Me and you for the generations to come, so that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you. 14 Keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. (Anyone who profanes it must surely be put to death. ) "Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honoring the Lord's Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ." 1910 (Modern Doctrinal Exposition – The Convert’s Catechism): Peter Geiermann’s Catechism: Formally affirmed the Church’s exercise of ecclesiastical authority in altering the day of worship: Q: Which is the Sabbath day? A: Saturday is the Sabbath day. Q: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? A: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday. Present Official Doctrine (Catechism of the Catholic Church): Paragraph 2175: Summarizes the official theological rationale—defining Sunday as a distinct observance that supersedes and spiritually fulfills the seventh day: And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and he entered, as his custom was, into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up to read. Luk3 4:16 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath . ACTS 1 The mark of God Is the Sabbath 777 is found on the Sabbath Genesis 2:1-3 2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God finished the work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all the work that he had done. 3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation. There are three elements to a legal seal. The name, His Title, His territory Exodus 20:8-11 God seal/sign 8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God . On it, you shall not do any work , neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord he made (creator) heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. The word Sabbath is not used anywhere in the Book of Romans especially Romans 14:5 Do Not Pass Judgment on One Another 1 As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not quarrel over opinions . 2 One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. 3 Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. 4 Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. 5 One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7 For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. 8 For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. 9 For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. 10 Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; 11 for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”12 So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. Do Not Cause Another to Stumble 13 Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. 14 I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. 15 For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. By what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. 16 So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. 19 So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. 20 Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to make another stumble by what he eats. 21 It is good not to eat meat drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble.c 22 The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves. 23 But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.d Sabbath and the Resurrection T here is no place in the entire bible where you will find any verses changing the Seventh-day Sabbath to Sunday, why doesn't it bother you when you worship on a different day than the day that God made holy, and to remember? It is the fourth commandment. Most Christians point to Romans 14 as proof text on changing the Sabbath day, however, you will not find the word Sabbath written in the book. Make no mistake, God will allow you to defy and disobey Him. He will allow you to follow the crowd and the traditions of men. He will allow you to sin. But He also says there is a day of reckoning coming. As you sow, so shall you reap! It’s interesting to note that there is only one day of the week that the Father gives a name to, the Sabbath, the seventh day. All other days are numbers. Ezekiel 22: 26 Her priests (Your pastors) have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27 Her princes within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to get dishonest gain.… Ezekiel 20:12 Also I gave them My Sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the Yehovah who sanctifies them. How can anyone be sanctified without keeping the Sabbath? Exodus 20:9 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Yehovah your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days Yehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them and rested the seventh day. Therefore, the Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it” (Exodus 20:8-11). 1 Peter 1:15 But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY." ● Leviticus 20:26 'Thus you are to be holy to Me, for I the Yehovah am holy; and I have set you apart from the peoples to be Mine. “Yehovah has today declared you to be His people, (ISRAEL) a treasured possession, as He promised you, and that you should keep all His commandments; and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, for praise, fame, and honor; and that you shall be a consecrated people to the Yehovah, your Elohim, as He has spoken." The Disciples kept the Sabbath 85 Times in the book of Acts. Acts 20:6-7 But we sailed from Philippi after the Feast of Unleavened Bread and five days later joined the others at Troas, where we stayed seven days. On the first day of the week, we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. Verse 7 states, in English, that the apostles came together on the first day of the week, thus, implying to many that the Sabbath is now on the first day of the week Since this verse is used to defend Sunday as the new Sabbath day, let’s look at the Greek verse, where verse 7 says “first day of the week”. The Greek says, actually... mia ton sabaton The Greek word mia means “one,” not “first” ... it is the Greek word ‘protos’ that means “first,” which is not present in the text. We cannot make it say something that it does not ... It actually translates as “one of the Sabbaths”. Plural. Not “First day of the week”. Singular.”. This is a huge translation error that has been openly accepted as truth over the years. The modern church recognizes the resurrection day of Yeshua as being on Sunday. Let's really see which day Yeshua was resurrected. Matthew 20:40 For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. John 11:9 Yeshua answered, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? If anyone walks in the daytime, he will not stumble, because he sees by the light of this world.10 But if anyone walks at night, he will stumble, because he has no light.” … Here is something to ponder. How can you get 3 days and 3 nights or 72 hours from Good Friday to a Sunday morning resurrection? If you do the math, He would have been raised on Monday. The modern church’s logic for changing the Saturday Sabbath to Sunday does not hold true as Resurrection services should be held on Monday afternoon. God only gave the seventh day a name, all the rest of the days were numbered. If you look closely you will see they are talking about eating and receiving one who is weak in the faith, but not to dispute over doubtful things. There are at least 10 times it mentions eating. The context here is fasting, the verse is telling them it doesn't matter which day you chose to fast. Yeshua says when we fast, not if you fast. Romans 14:5 One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. Matthew 6:16-18 “And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” Psalm 35:13-14 “I wore sackcloth; I afflicted myself with fasting; I prayed with head bowed on my chest. I went about as though I grieved for my friend or my brother; as one who laments his mother, I bowed down in mourning.”
